Some bloody big hills out there. Faffed around at #5 - the flag was well-hidden, tentative at #7 - why?, too far upstream at #9 - doh, wonky at #10 - wtf- except for crazy barking dogs, sucked off to the right approaching 15 - why?, went around to #16 - fell hard - ouch - damn, kind of a slog back to the finish.

Fell hard running back along the trail to the bridge. Ouch. Finger hurts the most. Bruised right hip - censored - and hit the right side of my head pretty hard.

Recovery tacos at El Tesoro. Barbacoa de Res, Porkbelly con papas, Frontera (mushroom and squash). On blue corn tortillas. Yum.
