Great day to be out at Eno River. Dew point in the upper 40's, and I made very good progress on the map. Although the far west side of the map has never been visited, almost everything for the October meet has now had at least a good once-over. I ran into a fellow from the Eno River Association in the middle of the woods, and we had a nice conversation, marveling at how rare it was to encounter any humans in that vicinity. He was pretty experienced with that area, and I thought that he might be able to give me some tips about how to access the far west side of the park easily. Surprisingly though, he had never been there either. If the only way to get out there is from the east, the area will only ever be good for an ultralong blue course. He did point me to two model A remains in the woods that I'm going to have to check-out and (hopefully) map.

Mapping around the Cox and Breeze homesites. I couldn't find any real remnants of the Cox site (i.e., nothing yet mapped as a ruin), but plenty of goodies at the Breeze site.
