2nd half of the 2010 BillyPig, MUNA map; coursesetter: Adam White. Long legs, mostly open woods and trails; a nice course with an 'orange' feel to it. I purposely took the southern route from 18 to 19 (perhaps a 2.5k leg) today, because I remember taking the northern (road) route during the event. The road was probably faster, but the southern route was certainly more enjoyable. I saw one obscenely long pink streamer at a location that might already be marking a spot for the upcoming TROL camp; don't know.

Control. pickup 25:00 [4] 2.5 mi (10:00 / mi)
shoes: Inov-8 Oroc

Clearing controls, looking for late kids, retracing steps to find dropped SI -- all very good fun.

Orienteering 25:00 [3] 2.6 km (9:37 / km)
shoes: Inov-8 Oroc

Union County Middle School practice at Hueston Woods (appropriately far away from the night-O venue). Set out SI for the beginner course, and ran a more advanced streamered course. Very fun.

Checking things out at HW. I ran into the fellow who is doing all the leg-work with building the frisbee golf course and had a nice conversation. I guess that in the future, we can look forward so many of the frisbee golf holes being asphalted-over to make them wheelchair accessible, especially for vets.
