Orienteering 1:25:25 [4] 5.0 mi (17:05 / mi)
shoes: Inov-8 Oroc

CVOC's 90-minute nighttime Score-O at Rockwood park. I ran pretty well on a map that could really use some updates. Competitors were not allowed to see the map until they were on the clock, which makes route planning for a score-O pretty tough. I fell into the "I'll just do the next closest control" strategy and ended up missing one at the top of the map. Otherwise, I cleared the course (31out of 32 controls) with 5 minutes to spare. Fun event, and very nice that my new Orocs felt great.

Control. pickup 1:00:00 [2] 3.0 mi (20:00 / mi)
shoes: Inov-8 Oroc

Nice retrieving controls that are not on stands.

Eno River SP. Easy run with Sadie, who is not a very good running partner. Very stony ground along the river in some places made parts of the run very slow.

Trail running 1:00:18 [2] 6.0 mi (10:03 / mi)
shoes: Inov8 - MudrockII

Slow jog twice around the Buehler trail. Felt a bit dead-legged from the weekend, but otherwise surprisingly good. I think that 40% of the weekend's blister problems were aggravated by swelling. Now that the swelling has gone down, the feet are in surprisingly decent shape.

Road running 20:00 [2] 2.0 mi (10:00 / mi)
