at Dranstugan, there were 8 of us running, warm up and then 5 hill sprints (left the stroller at the bottom of the hill for the sprints)

Felt pretty good, considering these were my first intervals in probably 9 months plus I came straight from my mom's Birthday party so my stomach was full of coffee, cookies and cake ;)

I somehow strained my neck Wednesday afternoon, it's been painful and I've been a bit immobile but now it's starting to feel better

Wanted to try some asphalt running without the stroller before Göteborgsvarvet. Wore compression socks and my mizuno road running shoes. Started feeling pain on my heels so stopped after 10km so I wouldn't get blisters. Won't use those socks for the half marathon and might also use a pair of my inov8 trail shoes instead of the mizunos while they feel big and heavy.

at Dranstugan. Really nice loop today, lots of climb. At one point there were hens on the road that got stressed and ran infront of us, they looked hilarious. It was only me and Jossan who did the last part of the run, the others took the road straight back.

Windy! Makes it tougher to run with the stroller in headwind but then it works as a sail when the wind is in my back.
I've decided that this year is not the year to chase a PR on the half marathon (next week). Now I have an excuse to really enjoy the atmosphere, have fun running and take it all in. Not push myself till I feel sick and then maybe still be disappointed afterwards. I mean I signed up for the race last fall just to have a reason to get back to running which I feel I have by now so that goal is fulfilled already.
