With Mike. Kind of chilly in the wind today. Stopped for lunch at Coffee's and for a little walk up to the pavilion in Rocky Neck SP.

More exploring of Westwoods trails. Did quite a lot of climbing. Lost the trail a couple of times, fallen down trees and slow. Also went through some places were it really wasn't runable. That was the purpose of this run though, to find where the good trails are and I found some great ones. Nice warm & sunny.

Came back just minutes before Mike who was mountainbiking with Jesse & Katy running. Off to have a picnic lunch in Chaffinch Island SP.

Then back to Mike's parent's house in Old Saybrook, his parents are in Florida. A tree had fallen towards the house and a branch hit the kitchen window, what a mess, there were pieces of glass everywhere, we spent about 2 hours cleaning.

At Maltby lakes. Just can't take a rest day when it's this nice out. I was hoping that spring is here the other day, might as well hope that summer is here, unbelievable.
Stretch-stop by the lake. I love running on the pine needles. On my way back I found a new trail leading down to Forrest Rd.

Shana decided to start a second weekly class, hurray!
Bikram zumba today, apparently the gym can't turn the AC on, while it's run central for the whole building and they won't turn it on until a certain date.

trail run 1:15:00 intensity: (55:00 @1) + (20:00 @4) 14.25 km (5:16 / km)

Run at Maltby lakes. Jogged together with Siobhan for part of the warm up. Ran 5 x 4min with 2min rest. And then cool down. Did a lot of running back and forth to avoid the worst muddy and rocky parts of the trails. So warm out! I was to hot in shorts and a craft underarmour, t-shirt would have been fine.
Hehe, you can see that I went down to the lake to wash off my shoes in the end.
Let's hope spring is here! No more snow. Daylight saving time, 15°C and sun :-)
