Very nice VTT ride in Parc de St Cloud on a very pleasant sunny day. Worked hard on the hills and enjoyed some great downhill stretches and some single track. Back quite stiff afterwards, but that is to be expected these days.

Note

Disaster of a week training-wise. Spent four days in Stockholm at a big water conference. Meetings from breakfast through till the evening, followed by networking dinner or boozing, meant precious little spare time. Aaaah, the glamour of international travel - plane, airport, taxi, hotel, conference centre, hotel - rinse and repeat for four days. Four speeches, five media interviews, numerous bilateral meetings - all very tiring. Plus, of course, work back at the office doesn't stop, exacerbated by the ever-present Blackberry (or as seom say, Crackberry). Whinge, whinge. A real shame as would have enjoyed a run or .two in Stockholm. Last year i managed to get out to an O map for an early morning run in the forest. No such luck this year unfortunately.

Good run in the Bois after an amazing 9 hour sleep (must be the most I have had for ages - was exhausted after the work trip to Stockholm). Just jogged along for 15 mins then picked up the pace. Felt heavy and slow, but was fun to pass lots of people out for their Sat morning jog.
