Decided the time had come to make an effort and start getting back in to training. Painful effort today. Still feeling quite stiff and sore from NY. Doesn't help that I have put on a couple of kgs the last few weeks as well. Main problem was the adductors on both sides are very sore - not injury-sore but quite stiff and painful when I run. Strangely, they seem to be better when I run faster (although other things get sore then). Have found some adductor strengthening exercise and stretches to do. Plan is to now run every second day for a few weeks and then start training in earnest for Paris around Xmas time.
