Skiing (downhill) 3:00:00 [3]

Spent the day downhill skiiing - third time in 51 years! I do love it, but wish i could find less challenging mountains to ski down. I need 2 or 3 days on green and "true" blue slopes to get the skills down pat and teh muscles used to the exercise. As it was, Matthias took me to the top of an Austrian blue run and launched me off - nothing like learning on the job! Went okay, but took a long time to get down teh 3km run, with a lot of falls as large parts of this slope would have been red in France. Anyway, had fun on a few shorter blue runs and managed to get more confident. Slopes were pretty icy with artifical snow on top, so bruised both hips when falling over. By 3pm I had had enough and took teh cable car down the mountain rather than ski - just getting too tired and falling over lots. Must learn to ski properly one day.

Easy run around the Bois. Bit bored and heart rate issues. Not surprising after a series of nights with very little sleep.
