Back on AP after a bit of a summer break (from AP, not from training, which was mostly running). Next big target is the London City O race on 10 Sep. Then a series of local O races and maybe an MBT-O race or two. I have been trying to keep up a consistent if low key training regime, aiming for a run every second day and a ride when I can. Not too bad so far.

Quite a warm day (28 deg) and headed into the Bois for an interval session. This was the third weekly interval session as part of the new plan to focus on quality in the reduced number and length of runs that I am doing these days. After a decent and slow warm-up, did 3 x 1k H / 2 min E, followed by 4 x 1 min H / 1 min E at a faster pace. Went okay, but felt a bit heavy on the run after four days in Stockholm and the inevitable work-related wining and dining. Pace for the 1km was 4.28, 4.22, 4.34 (uphill), then 4.09, 4.30 (something wrong with teh GPS there), 4.04, 4.01. Good session.
