Cycle 30:00 [2]

Inside cycle trainer. Easy spin to get blood into my cankle.

run race 1:15:00 [4]

Pick our Poison. 45 seconds into the race I twist my ankle. In the parking lot ferkrissakes. I ran a few minutes to see if it was just one of those little twangs, and it actually calmed down enough for me to finish one of the two loops. But now that I'm home I see that I have myself a nice big honkin softball of an ankle. Icing, NSAIDs, elevation, the usual. Conditions were insane. Course was outstandingly tough in the rain. And I would have said that even if I hadn't rolled.

Cycle 45:00 [2]

Just minding my own business riding home and this DRIVER starts yelling at me. Totally incoherent. Crazy stuff. Mean spirited I'm-a-driver-and-I-can-say-anything-I-want stuff. Unbelievably--and I shook this off as too implausible to be taken seriously--the driver looked a bit like, well, like Turbo. I know, I know: couldn't have been. But, you know the worst part? There were KIDS in the car. There really should be some kind of agency you can call.
