Pilates (Xtend Barre) 1:00:00 [3]

Got up quite a sweat today - hard work with Paddy in the baby carrier at the start of the class then lots and lots of leg work, plus some core and quite a bit of arms. Found it hard carrying Paddy around in my arms for the rest of the day!

Run (Hawthorndene Tempo) 29:00 [3]

Hmmm... This wasn't really a tempo run, but it was around my tempo loop so I tried to kick it a few times but wasn't really successful. :)

Popped into M&D's halfway around to say hi.

Pram walk (Hawthorndene) 1:40:00 [2]

Slightly more leisurely than usual walk around Hawthorndene in order to let the little man have a nap and return a book to a friend. Over the ridge, down Upper Sturt, along the creek where I ran into a friend from Mum's group out walking, so I joined her and her partner and bubs for a kilometer or so, then over the road at Apex Park, up the path to Blackthorne, along Pine Ave and back up Blackthorne, down the little paths to the valley to home and another lap of the block as Paddy was still sleeping. Too tired now to go running tonight (very little sleep last night didn't help).

Run (Bowling Green Lane) 1:17:00 [3] 12.9 km (5:58 / km) +197m 5:33 / km

Bridgewater long run! My first one since having Paddy, and there was a big group out. It was a lovely cool morning and Tyson kindly took Paddy for a pram run so I could run with everyone else (the pram wont run along the trails we do - although you could walk it at a pinch it would be very bumpy for the passenger!). I had to wake Paddy up, which was very hard to do (he just looks so peaceful and it goes against every instinct in a new mum to wake a baby), but apparently he slept for the whole pram run, which bodes well for future Bridgewater expeditions. I took the short option with Liv and Andrew at the halfway mark, but ended up having to double back after a dog followed us down Gully Road for a km or so to try to return it to it's place of residence. In the end we met up with the main pack of runners again and Z & J had been followed by this dog before, so took it home to it's owners. I don't know why I always get followed by stray dogs!!

Then we all went to the Providore in Aldgate for brekky - a big table of 10 or so runners - and sang zum geburtstag to J for the benefit of the two lovely Swiss orienteers who were with us. :)

Walk (Hawthorndene) 1:30:00 [2]

Walk to M&D's, then home along the creek and over the hill. P finally fell asleep just before we got home, so I pushed the pram around for another half hour while T picked up fish and chips. Soooo tired now!
