Rogaine (Been there, done that) 4:20:00 [1] ** 11.0 km (23:38 / km)
spiked:10/11c shoes: Raichle Scout hiking boots

Very enjoyable stroll through some very familiar territory.

Lots of fun with random outbreaks of song and plenty of giggles. Steve managed to score a decent shock from one of the electric fences and Sandy did not let her lack of height hold her back from mastering fence-climbing..

May have even managed to introduce someone to rogaining without breaking them the first time out and thereby acquired a third for the team. Huzzah!

Slight wobble at 41 - parallel spur partially hidden under the edge of the circle and map reading in fading light combined to lead us astray for a few minutes. Also spent a bit of time hunting for 20, but that was due to having one feeble headlight between 3 people, rather than being in the wrong place.

580 points.

slept:10.0

Seriously? I organised everything last night so I would have no wasted time this morning. Out of bed and off for a jog was the plan.

Sleep until 7.45 was the reality.
6 PM

walk/shuffle (random) 36:36 [3] 3.8 km (9:38 / km)
ahr:123 max:168 slept:10.5 shoes: Barefoot

2 minutes on, 1.5 minutes off. Times 6.

Dragged the dog along this time and really dragged him on lap 6. Also had to stop while walking home for him to feel sorry for himself.

1 @ 6.35
2 @ 6.33
3 @ 6.33
4 @ 6.35
5 @ 6.30
6 @ 6.43

Felt very comfy at all points. Would have been happier and faster without the dog, but he desperate needed to get some exercise.

Will do more and bigger next time again.
7 PM

Physio (hips / knees) 40:00 [1]

Zomg , dinner was ready before I had time to do core. Weird how that keeps happening.

Ooh medial glute on my 'good' side did not want to play. Calves pretty tight, but stretched out after a bit.

walk/shuffle (c25k w1) 30:00 [3] 3.3 km (9:05 / km)
ahr:132 max:169 slept:7.0 (injured) shoes: Barefoot

Eventually figured out that the alarm was not a weird part of my dream.

An exploratory trot, still in bare feet as bra was the only manual dexterity challenge I was up for this morning, so lots of concentration on posture and style. First few 1 min sessions were way too short - felt like I could have kept going for ever. Didn't believe the lie and stuck to the plan - just lifted my heels a little more.

Walk to park
Lap 1 @ 6.15
Lap 2 @ 6.30
Lap 3 @ 6.19
Lap 4 @ 5.36 (felt this one)
Lap 5 @ 5.56
Lap 6 @ 5.41
Lap 7 @ 5.40
Lap 8 @ 5.36
Walk home.

Will see how leg joints feel after barefoot running and decide what to next after that info is in. Probably up for a 20 min slow jog already, but will go insane with boredom if I have to run it on the oval.

Note
slept:10.5 (injured)

Plan to attempt a pre-work jog foiled by sleeping through the alarm. And sleeping through my neighbour dropping stuff off. And sleeping through the time I need to leave the house to catch the bus.

5 PM

Note

Spent the evening drawing on maps and talking about bikes. Fun!
