Lost Lagoon. First race of the year! Lost Magnus on #12, lost Eric Bone on #22, passed by John while I taking control C. Was ok for first race. Couldn't handle the orienteering at that speed. Mass starts are fast.

Downtown Vancouver! Decided to try running with the elites. Was a tad fast for me. Lots of room for improvement over the weekend.

False Creek. First really good race of the weekend. Starting to catch on to this sprinting business. Eric Bone caught up to me on the long leg but I was able to keep up to him no problem for the rest of the course.

Was kicked off my flight because they overbooked and I had not selected a physical seet on the plane yet. Only made it to Vancouver late tonight.

Caught a last minute email from Robbie and ended up running intervals at the fieldhouse. 4x4min. Last interval was 3:30 min/km. New shoes are working great.

Warm and foggy in Ottawa. I decided to start climatizing for Vancouver and wore a tee shirt to and from school. Got some funny looks from some of the other students.
