Today we went down to the track to do a work out. First we did a one mile warm up and stretched and did 30 pushups. Then we ran another mile warm up and then a quarter mile at a 6 minute pace. After that we went right in to a 2 1600s hard and 2 800s hard. Between each one we walked a 100 and jogged a 300.
Mile 1 - 5:40 - right on
Mile 2 - 5:40 - ten seconds slow
800 1 - 2:35 - right on
800 2 - 2:28 - two seconds fast
Then we did 25 pushups as soon as we finished. We then did a 2 mile cool down and stretched.
Coach wanted us to be ready for our meet next tuesday so he had us have a rest day today instead of sunday. So tomorrow we have a work out and then two long days and then a Pre-Meet.
I was still sore and tired from the meet on saturday. And being up till 12:30 didn't help either. So I got 3ed but the reason my time is faster than my past two is that the course was absolutely flat. There was one small bump that you could barely call a hill.
