Good session at the pool. Need to get here more often. Did the usual for first km then tried to do 100 'sprints' for me! 1:56, 1:39, 2:11, 1:43, 2:21, 1;49, 2:21, 1:46, 2;13, 1:46, 1:36, 1:39, 1:41, 1:44, 1:44, 1:57, last 100 no flippers.

This was very different. As I said before Kurt has broken his ankle so a substitute yoga teacher came with her own brand of Kundalina yoga, which has a couple of dynamic bits in it but mostly concentrates on breathing and mudras, and then some relaxation. She had a spiritual name Kut!. We also did lots of chanting and breathing techniques which I actually found quite hard to execute. She used a Sheepskin rug to sit on! Not quite what I was expecting but still ok.

This was a basics class with Manu. So he took us very gently through an easy dynamic practice. He concentrated on demonstrating technique in the poses which was good, but with lots of rests in between watching him it wasn't that strenuous.

Wet night and lost visibility and Garmin didn't start and lost contact in early section so time and distance probably under what I actually did. Rain and stormed so heavy that light relflected the raindrops and dropped visibility down to a bout a 1 metre! Decided to give up as couldnt see. Eventually took my glasses off to walk back in the rain. A shame as the rain was heavist at the most difficult night control and the rest would have been easy as they were in the cleared paddocks.
Great fun nevertheless!

Good swim. 1:55, no flippers, 1:44, 2:22, 1:42, 2:26, 1:46, 4:11, 2:18, 1:43, 1:40, 1:41, 1:37, 1:35, 1:35, 1:55. Last 100 no flippers. Tried to sprint and rest for the quicker 100s but my kick board laps were slow.

On the camp nice 25 m pool. Good way to start the day.2:06, 1:58, 2:19, 1:51, 2:10, 1:51, 2:23, 1:49, 1:19(50m), 3:48,(150m),0:55(50m)), 2:00 no flippers for last 100m. Stuffed up my laps lost count of 4 lengths! No flippers first 100 then flippers and then kick board.

Did the usual combo but didn't have my watch so time is a guess. Only did the 1 km as I had to rush home for dinner and off to see the Mariners thrash Wellington Phoenix 5-0. Yippee!

With Manu and it was hot!!! We did some different poses tonight. Managed the crow but not so good on the kick out to plank as it strained my knee a bit. I will still persevere though. We moved more directly from one pose to another which is not always so easy!
