Four School Barefoot Loop. They didn't do a particularly good job, but the powerline grass has at least been cut to where you can run it without completely changing your stride. Whether it's enough to deter chiggers remains to be seen.

Fleet Feet Pancake Run at Lost Valley. By opting for the long loop I guess I'm officially training through Highland. Ate way too many pancakes afterwards.

5xCC Lake service road@2:05, equal recovery. Then into work on roads. As it was in the spirit of the workout, I also pushed the climb up the bluff on River Valley and hammered the rollers through Greentrails. TI is listed as advanced because the actual climb on the service road is very steep gravel and it was extra loose this morning because of all the heavy rain we've had.

This was basically a Proof of Concept for shoehorning a Q3 into the marathon program. Pretty pleased with the results. Legs were fine as they won't hit the recovery trough from yesterday for another 10 hours or so. I'm sure this order is better than doing the bike first. Won't try it again next week because of the race Monday, but I'll try to get in three throughout phase 2 and 3 (6/4 - 8/25).

In to work via Bible Study. With all the Ladue Rd traffic diverted to avoid the SPGA Championship, the half a K on Conway where I have to run in the road didn't go over too well with the commuters. Fortunately, I've spent the last 20 years telling Senior Execs why their systems cost so much and have developed immunity to condescending looks of disapproval from rich folks.

Duck(P)@18:45 on the way home from work. Fitness appears to be about where it usually is for the start of a marathon cycle.
