Back out to Lost Valley to look for my phone. Found it. Yay. Plenty of ice on the trail this morning; was glad I chose my studded shoes.

4 School Barefoot Loop. Too much ice for barefoot.

First 100-mile training week since last February. Hips, back, and feet all feel fine. Happy about that as I was concerned I might have ramped it up too fast. Step back next week, then full base through March.

Lewis Trail and then the SHITR. I didn't see any Ice. The Trail Run part was certaily true. The SHivering didn't set in until after. Despite being my least favorite conditions, it was a good run spoiled by some unfortunate side effects (like losing my wallet & cell phone).

Easy jog round the hood.

6x3:00 hard, roughly equal recover on Lewis East from Duckett Creek trailhead. Last three were repeats on the climb up from the river, which is quite perfect for this sort of thing; 3 minutes is the full climb plus a few seconds to get up to speed at both the top and bottom and you can easily jog back down in time for the next one. Repeats on this hill once or twice a month would probably pay dividends at next year's PM.
