Running long 2:03:00 [3]
shoes: Salomon Sense Mantra

Cockies Sunday run from Hackett with acejase (who had already run for 'hours' before he got there), Frogga, Hoggster, Fat Rat, Devil, ALJ and MaryMac doing her own thing. I did my warm up, then Majura taking the straight line from the hairpin bend on the TTT, then down the road, across to the pines, Hackett Hill, Ainslie via all the newly graded walking tracks, then back via Tricky Track to the cars, and finally an extra 10 minutes to meet the others finishing. I kept with everyone, using some shortcuts, until the climb up to the saddle before HH, then it was a solo effort. Felt fairly crap on the hills but the remainder was OK.

Pleasant breakfast at Sfoglia - had skinny choccy milkshake, toasted focaccia with butter, and a mug of SFW.

Run from home to Parkrun - made it just as the general announcements were finishing, then a short 10 min warm down with Mace and BB after the run.

Running race 22:19 [4] 5.0 km (4:28 / km)
shoes: New Balance 890 v2

Parkrun at Lake G. Started very steadily and made it to the first km about 5-10sec slower than last week. Gramps caught me here but then I managed to stay with him or just ahead until 4km mark. Passed Garry on the peninsula but then he stormed past me in the final 300m and I had a cbf moment and let him go, so only '2nd gent in my age group' this week. My time was exactly the same as last week. Need to have a different mental approach if I want to improve my time. Either that or some better training.

Running 33:10 [3]
shoes: Asics GT-2000

Run from home after work. It was getting dark but still managed to run up to Mt Rogers and do most of the lap, but came back down via Spence shops and through the suburb. It started raining about half way around but didn't get too wet in the end.

RTW with MaryMac as far as Lake G then I peeled off.

Bike - MTB 57:40 [3]

Ride home via JKP to the bridge then I went right and followed bike path to O'Connor Ridge to cross paths with MaryMac so we could ride home together. It was getting a bit dark towards the end so I had to tuck in behind MaryMac who had her lights - I wasn't doing it for the slip streaming at all.

Sunny, cool, windy but still worth getting out for a run. I had no real plan so just headed south along the Cook bike path, over the saddle and onto the horse trail. Crossed over to Aranda bushlands then down through Frost Hollow, then the Cork plantation, and finally up through the himalayan pines to 'Wide Brown Land'. Had a quick look at the view, then retraced my steps back to work.

Ride home from work in a bit of a zig zag to make it longer, but felt very tired by the time I made it home.

Bumped into Timbercomp in the change room at work so ended up running with him on his 'gentle 20 min jog'. We went over Gossan Hill at what was for me a good pace - still not good on those hills. Nice to have some company and discuss some different things.
