Note
(rest day)

Buggered after a big dance sesh at Bomba last night. Me and jessie went and played in the snow instead of training. So much fun. I have a pretty sore bum though from sliding down the snow.

running tempo (Winter Tour) 1:00:00 [4] 9.4 km (6:23 / km)

Tour around taroona. Felt really slow and cold, also ran really cautiously out of fear of twisting my ankle along dark narrow paths. Chips afterwareds went down a treat.

Note
(rest day)

Well i got into my gear to go running. But it was already dark (5pm) by the time i got the chance and just as i was walking out the door it started to bucket down with rain. So i decided to watch some episodes of pride and prejudice instead.

running warm up/down 35:00 [2]

running intervals 25:00 [5]

6 x400m
90,93,96,94,96,92
With one lap recovery.

Went up to the track, wore my new shoes. They are so cool. They have sparkly shoe laces and are so light!!! Didn't run very fast but i think this was mainly due to the fact it was about 2degrees and there was an icy wind.

running long 1:12:34 [3]

Decided it would be fun to go running in the snow. So I went up to the summit and started running out to mt. connection. Got stuck in a bit of a snow blizzard though and the track turned into a massive bog, so i turned back. Kept heading along the fire trail to tom thumb. Didn't actually climb it cos once again there was a huge snow blizzard but it looked awesome all the same. The track involved a lot of rock hopping which was fun. Overall a very enjoyable run (except for the coldness).
