Indian Valley Brown Course. Not my best day. The problems started with Control 1. A control in a nearby reentrant pulled me left. I confidently punched this one without looking at the code. So this made my hunt for control 2 quite baffling. About 10 confusing minutes later I ran into my correct control 1. Everything then started to make sense. The rest of the course I did without any major errors.

A new urban adventure. Walked with Leslie trying to follow Cerrito Creek to the Bay from our house. The Creek is about 50% under houses, roads, stores, etc. So the route involved many detours. As we got closer to I-80 the creek was flowing fast because of the recent rains. But had to turn back at the freeway. Many restoration attempts have and are now taking place to restore the creek. Don't know what the plan for the buildings would be. But we saw the potential in one beautiful tree lined section close to I-80.

Finished up the mapping and field checking for the UC Berkeley meet on Apr 13. It is funny, an entire building disappeared on campus in the course of a year, Poof!. No trace of construction. Now just a parking lot and garden. I had gone by the area a few times in the last month and didn't notice. When I realized it I couldn't believe my eyes.

Yesterday I was called down to Kaiser Santa Clara for a heart biopsy. One of my blood tests had come back with a bad rejection number. The biopsy showed no evidence of rejection. Got this good news as I got off the bus coming home from campus.
