Started the wu with Becky feeling good. COLD! Got back and was met at the start line by a fat biker. I was planning to take a pit stop before starting but decided I bet better start before the fat biker and let them push me. Eased into the race knowing there was vertical up ahead. Kept the legs turning over and was carful with my footing. Lots of divets. Felt good climbing. Just tried to keep my breathing somewhat in control on the big climb. I could not remember exactly what lay ahead as I did not usually use this trail. Found a few punchy hills that seemed to steel my momentum. Tried my best to find my stride at the top and roll back down. Was a little timid on the downhills with the uneven footing. Really happy with my effort after hydro hill. I was reminded of a bike race on the same finish in which I had given my all. Tried to copy that effort and finished with a deep burn at the bridge.

Happy with my effort today. I was more focused. I could gain some easy seconds by opening up my stride a little more on the downhills.

5x 15 sec strides mixed in on way back. Legs sluggish to start but loosened up nicely.

Ran my normal loop instead of Boulevard. Cold with a side order of wind. Felt good in the warm up. Went into the first effort looking for a taste of pain. Tried to focus and keep the effort up through each interval. The last 3 efforts felt much tougher than the others. Kept my head up looking to landmarks to chase down. Solid workout.

Pushed harder than before in the Tuck knee jumps. Such a great burn for a quick workout

Ran Daisy on the college loop. Finished with strides. Footing a little loose but the body feels great!
