Ran with Keegan, regular course with him starting 2 min behind. Heavy rain on the drive in, but we started dry until it starting raining heavily again around my control 16. Marshes were double their regular size, hence some goofy looking routes in their vicinity. GPS was quite slow under the rainclouds.
I apparently exited 4 quite poorly. Even when I relocated (correctly!) after seeing the boulder cluster SW of 4 on the line, I took another equally bad bearing which is just suspicious. Eventually gave up and looked at o-range for the distance, 120m? I figured I was on the wrong spur anyways. I initially thought it was dubious vegetation, but looking at my track it actually makes a lot of sense now.
I attacked 11 so well, it's a shame I gave up just a little too early (didn't see the rock at all). 14 there was an unmapped tower which I read as the tower S of the circle. I thought I took 20 well until I saw the rock wall; in retrospect I should've noticed the climb and turned SW to lose a contour rather than NE to gain 2.
Never saw Keegan out there, which I was nervous of after my hash of 5. He apparently had an quite the mare out there.
