Rowing 12:15 [3] 3.0 km (4:05 / km)

First time with rowing machine (WaterWorks). Excellent! Took it easy while getting used to the machine and proper stroke movement and rythm. Last rowed at Georgetown University Freshman year crew (1983!), but remember pretty well and got quickly into a good stroke sequence. Averaged about 24 strokes/minute, quite gentle. Goal will be to gradually up that to 26-27 while maintaining a full stroke length. After 3km my legs were feeling it, I could have kept going but don't want to risk injury while body and mind are getting used to the movements. My back muscle pain came back slightly in the past two days, I think after setting up the rowing machine ironically. Pain disappeared after 2 minutes of rowing and back feels great after the session. Rowing works most muscles in the body, including the Erector Spinae which I think is what I really need to fix the weak-ish back.
