Individual Training (IOCT Training ) 45:00 [4]

Took almost all of this week off for rest. Plus it was a terrible week for homework, up until 1 every night. Decided to start practicing for my IOCT coming up on the 1st. Ran through it once completely, got a 258 and then practiced individual parts. I would like to get sub 250 on my test.

Morning
About 20-25 minutes on the Bike looking at terrain for this weekend. Stairway to heaven and I think I did some pushups and Abs as well.

Afternoon
IOCT pracitce - 30 minutes
Ran through the IOCT once and then worked individual portions of it for about 20 minutes. Ran about a 3:05 - I want a 2:40

Orienteering (Sprint in the woods ) 50:00 [3]

Did a short sprint course in the woods. It all went around one center point so we were never farther than about half a mile away unless it got too dark and someone got hurt. Overall pretty easy course, about a 4k.

Went into the woods and worked on Long legs. Again it was getting pretty dark so our total long leg contribution was limited to about four legs.

Doing O-trevals through the woods. It was getting dark pretty fast so our headlamps were a necessity. Because it got dark around 5:15 we probably won't go out in the woods this often anymore.

6 Lusky loops, which are 1 kilometer sprints. After we just did some stretching and quicker, shorter sprints.

Trail running in Black Rock Forest with maps. Not going to lie, me, David, Kevin and Jack tried to find some house in the woods and got lost. Still a good run but we did not accomplish our objective.
