I've never had much success at this rocky terrain with it's assortment of green, thorny bushes, plus narrow and overgrown trails (add in big *#& spiders in the summer). So my run today was totally unspectacular. Paying constant attention to my footing and burrowing through the narrow paths may have partly contributed to my decreased map concentration and physical strength for the second half of mu race. Seems my brain was on holiday and I difficulty interpreting map information and making good route choices.

Not a good start for 2015, and certainly put me behind a bit for the Team Selection. Hoping for better results in 2 weeks on Lamma Island

Valentine's Day run with Iris. Continuing our exploration in Tuen Mun. This time went south from Tuen Mun Park along nullah to the end and back. I added on a couple more miles towards the sportsground and checked out that area.

Note: There was minor irritation in the L-Knee towards end of the run.

Scheduled rest day. The L-Knee that acted up during Sunday's race seems to be okay now, as no abnormalities were observed after last night's interval. Will find out this Sunday if the problem surfaces on sloping terrain.
