so my dad and i had this bright idea that on my half day we would head up to the gats and hit the trails. we made it 10min before my dad's tire exploded. shoot. so then we patched it up enough to get back to the truck and headed home. and then... since we just got a new road bike, we decided to hit the road instead. i made it two blocks until disaster struck. my dad was in front, and he pointed to the left to say that we had to turn, but i thought he was pointing to these houses so i turned and looked. that's when we turned and i kept going straight and boom crash bang ahhhh. got some nice road rash going on all down the side of my leg and the wheel on my bike is wobbly :'( we still biked for 40min after that just cause i wanted to go on my effing bike ride!!! grr.

had to bribe myself out of the house with a map. ended up bringing my course 3 from the world masters. wow what a course! :P apart from my 3 major flameouts on a 3.6km course i don't remember it being that bad :P

i have no clue what my time was but it doesn't really matter cause it was a pretty pooey race. felt fine for most of it but i had no motivation to run faster or even push it a bit. our team qualified for ofsaa but it's nov 7th so i'm going to be juggling that and raid the hammer. good thing they're close together.

toodling around the trails at jack pine. we tried to teach ian how to go through puddles but instead he just got two soakers... :s
