running 33:00 [3]

just to get out and watch the pretty snowflakes falling. well actually, i procrastinated for a grand total of 6hrs... hehe oopsy daisy. did get out though and had quite an adventure. :P

X-country skiing 1:15:00 [3]

got out for a midnight ski which was absolutely perfect!!! it wasn't too cold, we had the wholet trail to ourselves, and we had to step aside for the groomer who was coming the other way so we had a freshly groomed trail as well!! went up pink from asticou and then coming down was just marvelous. i find going downhill a rather nervewracking experience, but it's still fun. our little balloon full of happiness was popped though when we got back and found that the truck had been broken into. geepers!!!! glass and blood everywhere, and there was nothing of value for them to take!!!! got my dad's toolbox, some keys, sunglasses, and his friggin reading glasses!! and those aren't even prescription!! for heavens sakes!!

a good practice led by pat. a lot of core stuff and then running around the school.

did the second day of that really tough workout. this time though, it wasn't so much shoulders. phew!

a tad longer and a ton harder this morning cause of all of the snow!!! ah!!!

real good leg strength workout today. really hurt, but felt excellent afterwards.

running warm up/down 20:00 [3]

even the warm up and cooldown was super duper difficult cause of the foot of snow that just fell out of the sky.

running intervals 30:00 [3]

some ladder intervals. woohoo... thank goodness though, the street we were running on was pretty much the only street in ottawa that had been plowed!!!

i have not been in that much pain since i went paintballing... and this pain lasted longer!!! didn't expect it to be -25 degrees out when i got dressed this morning. so i only had only layer of pants on and my legs were actually in searing pain the whole time. the only upside to it was that it made me run faster to attempt to thaw out my legs.

all shoulder press cause it took so long to keep changing weights.

some stupid drills at the beginning that just turned everybody into ice cubes. but then we went out for a ski and i remembered just how much i love it! not too shabby for first ski of the season, just sore calves. ooh!! got new old ski boots and skis!!! yeah yeah!!

yoga/pilates 1:00:00 [1]

mostly pilates this class. my favourite part was our rest between exercises cause i could just close my eyes and take a little nap. :)

cycling 20:00 [3]

biked down to the church and back to make shortbread cookies!!! yum yum! roads aren't too bad at all and i wore enough layers that i was actually sweating!
