cycling 45:00 [1]

Endurance class, managed to stay breathing through my nose although it made me want to sneeze... :P

running warm up/down (track) 5:00 [2]

Just ran up around the two schools to warm up.

stretching (track) 10:00 [1]

strength (track) 30:00 [4]

Did circuits in the gym in groups but there were only 3 girls in a group of 19. So I was all alone with 5 other guys but it was still fun. First circuit was the plank and we all had a competition to see who could stay the longest. 3 of us were still going when we had to switch stations. Some of the other circuits were jumping thingymadooers, crunches, hand stands against the wall, lunges, hurdles (which were fun cause I've never done them before) and ball throw. I think I've gained some respect amongst the people that were in my group. ;-)

running (track) 15:00 [4]

Not sure of the exact times, but we did two loops. The first was pretty fast and it was the longer one, but I managed to stay pretty much in the lead pack for most of it. Caught a few people on the hill and then the "sprint" in. The second loop was shorter, but I was more tired so I didn't go as fast, although the other people were tired too so I just had to keep up to the leader. Go NHS x-country running team!!!! :P

running 34:52 [1]

Did a cool-down run just down to the river but not as far down as we usually go. Knees weren't too sore until the end and it was so nice out I just had to go for another run after track.

running tempo 50:20 [3] 10.8 km (4:40 / km)

Decided to try out 10km and see how close we were to under 45min. We actually did pretty well since right at the 10km mark we were at 46min 54sec! Just need to shave off 2 more minutes. We might've been closer except that right down island park and at some spots along the river, the wind was coming right at us. It didn't matter which way we were running, it was just always against us. Really pushed it the extra 800m cause I was thinking about track season starting very soon!! No pain no gain!!! :P

running tempo 33:50 [3] 7.6 km (4:27 / km)

Had to get a quick run in before jazz band practise so we decided on a quick, very quick, run down to island park and then back. Started out at a pretty good speed and then by the end we had setteled into a even and a bit slower pace. Another beautiful day and finally into shorts and t-shirt.

running 1:01:02 [2]
(injured)

Same run along the river as I did before except instead of going down Island Park we (my dad and I) just went straight down to the river, up the river for 20mins and then back the same route. Knees were super sore at the beginning so I ran on the grass, but even when I was walking to school it was painful!
