cycling 45:00 [3]

Did mostly strength and intervals today which wasn't too good for my legs. Now they're pretty stiff!!! Anyways, did 2 hills and on the downhill we went through a few "mud puddles" which was like doing a standing sprint. We also did some standing sprints going uphill with a seated climb recovery. That's brutal!!! First class in a couple weeks so I'm glad that I went.

X-country skiing (strength) 1:00:00 [5]

We had our/my very first x-country ski practise training thingymadooer and it was pretty tough. The first 10min, we played ultimate to warm up (interesting way, but a lot of fun) and then we did drills. To start with, there were 4 stations: corner jumps, gazelle run, jump over the pilon, and knee bends (not sure of the correct names)... We did them for 30sec with 30sec of rest afterwards. The second set of stations we did were: pushup's, situps, superman, jane something-or-other, leg thingies, "steps", calf strength... I think that's all of them. Anyways, we each went around to each one for 20sec. And we finished with 2 laps around the field to warm down plus a stretching session.

running tempo 41:17 [3]

After I had run home from the practise, I went running with my dad!!! We did the Island Park loop, stopped at the Superstore to go to the bathroom, and then did a different route than usual. We still ran down to the river, except we were at the other end coming down. The only problem was that we were running against the traffic so we couldn't see anything with all of the head lights blinding us. Went at a pretty good pace and now I'm pretty stiff, all ready for spinning tomorrow morning. Endurance isn't so bad though :-)

running tempo 33:53 [3]

Dragged myself out of bed this morning and it was supposed to be a slow run because of my dad's ankle, but I don't know if I was tired or what, but it felt pretty fast to me... we just did the river run but cut off a bit on the end because I had to get to get ready for school.

school sports (badminton) 30:00 [2]

Played some games of badminton in gym which was a lot of fun. I actually broke a sweat too which is surprising.

running tempo 13:00 [4]

Ran to Venturers with Molly which was a lot of fun except that I was kinda scared that we were going to get mugged or something.

orienteering race (score-o) 30:00 [4]

Did the score-o which was a lot of fun except for the fact that I was wearing hiking boots, 3 pairs of pants and 6 sweaters because I didnt' get a chance to drop some of my clothes off. Didn't read my map as much as I should've mostly because I knew exactly where the control was going to be, and I was pretty busy looking out for puddles. I was racing Eric and he got back about 10sec before me, but he only punched 2 or 3 of the controls whereas I punched them all. Hehe, that's where I lost all of my time... ;-)
