Mythbusters mtb rogaine. Took off not knowing where I was going or with any plan at all, tried to make it up on the fly. Went east then nth, was so-so shouldn't have bothered with 126 or 115 or 145. Course I did was 110,117,143,163,126,154,115,127,155,164,145,it was here I managed to get my head into the map,157,147,167,146,156,144,165,135,124,133,161,121,141,131,150,120,130,140. I had time to get 160 but got lazy.

Started sth to 90 and was happy to see wil and andre going in a different direction, I don't like following or being followed. Made our first mistake by thinking the track to 32 was vague so spent a few minutes stumbling around amongst really thick stuff before getting our heads into the game, As a result we saw Janet and Lesa leaving 32 as we approached, leaving them with their mirth we took off back down he track before turning up towards 31,41,70 and then saw Graham and Bro on our way to 60, then 102,61,50,42,21,33,80,56, towards 101 Bryan McClintock said 101 isn't there so made sure we were concentrating as he doesn't make too many nav errors, found it ok. The next leg to 71 was a bit ugly but no nav issues, onto 53 where we saw MrR and said at this rate we'll be back by 7, hahaha, this was 3 hrs in and we'd gained an hr and we only managed to maintain that hr from this point on. Up to 74,83,104,66,54,75 where we passed Wil and Andre just leaving, thought if they've already done a loop in the middle we're in trouble if not then we're still in with a chance. 44,93,seeing Nicki and sis for the first of 3-4 times,63,92,100,62,82,52. At this water drop we were burning up in the face from working hard and proceeded to pour cold water over ourselves which a team found hard to believe as it was starting to get cool, it was really refreshing. Onto 64,36 where I charged out of the control and straight back down the track before realising we were supposed to go straight to the next ctrl 105, then 65,84,85,35,73,45,lights on then 34,51 and more water over the head. We went in early to 94 realised straight away and quickly went directly to the control, getting to 43 we had to go nth on the track a couple of hundred mtrs before bashing through to the dam then crossing via a log and bit of mud and swinging left on the other side back to the control, all done relatively quickly. Track to 55,81 then went from junction straight at 103 only to miss it by mtrs and head west another 40mtrs before turning around, track to 72 then diligently following a bearing and reading the terrain straight to 91 which could've been a real bugger. Bashed through to track sth, then easy nav for the rest. 20,40,44 which seemed a little out of place but only lost 1min, 30 and hash, then the fun started! We knew we'd mispunched 32 but it wasn't in the box we thought we'd put it in so we got our card back and ran back out to 32 which happened to be uphill all the way, it may only have been a slight gradient but at that stage it felt hard, when we got our card checked the second time they found the original punch in box 38, had we noticed it we could've saved ourselves some pain. Relieved to get back and find the usual suspects still not back.
