core/legs (endurance circuit) 29:50 [4] 1.0 mi (29:50 / mi)

Instead of doing strides and circuit, I combined them. 2 exercises, 100m stride, etc. The last 5-6 minutes were actually with other people just doing core, but I had lots of residual breathing hard so I'm still counting it.

Tried to do hard exercises, like up-and-down plank, v-ups, lunges, squats, situps, pushups, etc. I still had to do supermans so I wasn't completely ignoring my back, but I did that with harder stuff.

running 21:21 [3] 2.94 mi (7:16 / mi)

cv miles.
7:01 (91)
7:09 (91)
7:11

The 1880 loop was too snowy, so we ran in the road. There's a loop that's actually really close to a mile.
On the first one I felt really tired, but then I felt better after I saw I was going faster than I expected. Ran the next 2, even though they were slower.

running warm up/down 40:06 [3] 4.58 mi (8:45 / mi)

core/legs (knee exercises) 10:00 [1]

Note

Talked to the trainer today. He says as far as he's concerned, I'm eligible for next year, but it's a matter of whether the administration feels I have a chance of making the conference lineup. I wonder how much of a chance I need to have... Anyway, I'm talking to my coach on Monday. The fact that he asked me to meet with him rather than just answering my question by e-mail worries me...

core/legs 15:00 [2]

shoulders really tired. struggled a bit to think of enough ab/back exercises.

running 46:18 [3] 5.34 mi (8:40 / mi)

Decided to add distance onto my Friday and Monday runs and keep x-training Tuesday-Thursday.

Note

Significant interaction for no-tool and easy-tool conditions! Not borderline either!!! Now I just have to come up with an explanation:)

elliptical 45:02 [3]

Went really easy today, because my legs were sore from lunge exchange. I thought I was so cool doing the MD circuit...

Anyway, 2 pieces of promising news:

1. My data for my honors project show what may be an interaction, if it turns out to be significant. My professor's going to run an ANOVA, and I find out Thursday morning. If it is there, it's much more interesting than the results I predicted, especially if I could design a second experiment that explains them. On the other hand, it may just be noise. I'll have my fingers crossed!

2. The trainer talked to the AD over the weekend (they were on a bball trip together), and I have eligibility next year at least for winter and spring track. I have to get him some more information to see about XC.

core/legs 15:00 [3]

core. Tried to keep my heart rate up, which meant no dog pees and limited supermans.

running 1:11:24 [3] 8.24 mi (8:40 / mi)

long run with Lizzie. not too fast, but felt a good rhythm. Expected to be completely dead from Saturday, but wasn't as much as other people. Probably because I went home and slept a lot Saturday night!!!

Calf muscles still super-sore though.

core/legs 14:10 [3]

md circuit. hahahaha!

running drills 6:00 [3]

core/legs (knee exercises!!!) 10:00 [3]
