Really Good Race, However we ran with the U18 and U16 lads and so I knew instantly that they would set of too fast. So I decided to do my on thing and let them go. Was a good decision to make and all the seniors did the same as me. So after the first 500m I was already down in around 60th but i had planned out my race and was sticking to my plan.

So set my pace up the hill and stuck to it and as i thought all the young lads died as they had set off way too fast. I just took them one by one and got to the top of the first hill in around 30th. Then knew I would loss places down the hill as my descent is poor. And as expected people came past however, only two young lads went past me. But I knew that they were wasting energy going that fast down the hill and that i would easily go past yet again on the next hill.

As expected i went through the start/finish to go up the next hill and as soon as the climb started they both died and i went past. The aim up this hill was to catch up Joe Woodley and the group ahead. So i set a pace i could keep at up the hill and caught him and the grup ahead right at the bottom of the steepest climb. I knew then i had to dig in and get past a few people. And I did exactly that going past 4 people, the aim after this was to not lose any places on the steep descent. However, not only did I not lose a place I also caught someone and was able to take them just before the finish to come 25th.

I am not doing anything untill the Fell Race this weekend. I am not feeling great lately am always tired and run down and I always feel awful in the legs when running and am unable to push and have to plan what I am doing a lot more than usual. I am going to leave it one more week them may book myself in for a check up and some blood tests to see if anything is wrong with me.

Slept better last night but woke up at 5:30 because of some stupid noise outside but went back to sleep for an hour.

Going to LOC Summer Series Event tonight most likely another hour score, putting it in now as i have time and will update when I can.

Bit Longer this one was good as had some long legs to open up on, didn't feel to bad only a little sluggish and unable to fully loosen up.

One control was in completely wrong place so i moved the control for everyones benefit.

Made a few silly mistakes in an area i know well and should of been around 5 mins faster.

Was going fine untill the last 15 minutes were it became really hard am definaitely still not 100% for some reason.
