1. No attack point

Bad map reading
Bad compass work
Not thinking clearly
Lacked concentration
Unused to terrain

Just a complete lack of plan to the first control. Easy run off but no concentration. Could not read the map or run in this terrain.
2. Did not plan ahead
Bad map reading

+00:30
Straight uphill, so just walked. Got to circle OK but couldn't find the control because didn't read control descriptions properly.
3. Unused to terrain
+00:30
Terrain - NO CHANCE. Had to jog walk over.
4. Bad map reading
Bad compass work
Unused to terrain
+00:45
Took bad diretion from the control without checking the compass. Shocking. Was expecting Leo to come past at any second.
5. Unused to terrain
Was an OK route I think. Map was not good in control area. Bit of a lucky packet really.
6. Underrated difficulty
Unused to terrain

Couldn't run on hill (tried) had to go down to the road. Had to look for the control as far more tree stumps in area than on map. Quite confusing.
7. Bad route choice
+02:00
Didn't want to run over the cow fields, especially not with the farmer prowling around in his tractor, so ran round outside. No error here but lost quite a bit of time to those who ran over the fields.
8. Bad route choice
+02:00
BAD BAD BAD route choice. Went round the hill to stop myself doing 20 HM - Idiot.
9. Bad route choice
Tired
Edi had an excellent route choice, but was quite a bit longer. I should have run that rather as the HM killed me.
10. Bad map reading
OK
11. Did not like map

+01:30
Huge boulder not on the map was confusing everybody. 10 people looking for control. Turned out the boulder was 50 m higher.

Oh boy, what a farce. Looking for control with Mani and Arthur, They find "a" control with no SI and then run on. I get there and notice that the control is on a boulder, which is not my description and look on. Find the control about 25 meters further on in right place with control markings. Stamp and run on. Note on the side: those starting later had been informed by other runners that this control was missing it's SI and thus the reason why they all ran on. This information was incorrect. Course was still allowed - I felt that this was just not fair.
13. +00:30No problem, waited for Arthur to tell him to go back for the control.
14. OK, but walked
15. OK
16. OK
F. OK
