Wednesday Mar 3 #

11 AM

Walk (w/ ben) 23:51 [1] 1.52 km (15:41 / km) +26m 14:27 / km
ahr:96 max:110

3 PM

Biking (MTB- Green Ridge SP) 2:20:06 intensity: (1:50 @1) + (43:58 @2) + (1:00:56 @3) + (31:08 @4) + (2:14 @5) 14.5 km (9:40 / km) +409m 8:28 / km
ahr:150 max:187

So, uh, the last 5 km took 15 minutes...
We went on the biking trail in Green Ridge on the other way around than we were before: big mistake. We ended up climbing up the biggest hill there, and we had to walk up the entire last hill because it was just too steep, the terrain was too iffy, and it was way too long. At the top, right before getting to the road, there was a short section that we physically could bike on, and my dad took advantage of that, and broke a lever on his rear gear shifter.
We tried to have me bike back to the car and drive up to pick him up, but I didn't have a map on me so I was going by memory of what I've seen on my dad's phone. Unfortunately I went incorrectly (so did my dad), so at one point I got very confused and while I was trying to figure out where to go, my dad caught up to me. (he could still go downhill, just couldn't pedal at all). So, I ended up not having to drive to pick him up, since it was basically just downhill the whole time.
it was a time...

Note

oh- i made it over 9 hours of activity, interesting-
4 PM

Running warm up/down (neighborhood) 7:11 [2] 1.01 km (7:07 / km) +27m 6:16 / km
ahr:136 max:151

Running intervals 17:17 intensity: (6:35 @1) + (10:42 @4) 2.4 km (7:12 / km) +45m 6:35 / km

pathetic attempt at intervals, i thought i could do 3
4x 650m with 200m rest, but i ended up only doing it 3 times and the second time i had to walk for a few seconds halfway through. First interval pace was 5:09/km, but i clearly pushed too hard because i ended up doing 5:49/km on both of the next intervals.

honestly i just feel like crap today, not even sore or anything, just extremely...idk how to describe it.
9 PM

Strength Training (core) 10:00 [3]

10 PM

Strength Training (arma) 10:00 [3]

Strength Training (core) 10:00 [3]

frustrated about everything, so I did core during class.

Even though I'm very very sore from the weekend, I felt super strong today? Like I got through every single exercise (even the planks) all the way through without stopping- admittedly I had a bit of a break after the first 5 minutes and another one 2 minutes later because I had to write something down for class. But I didn't have to stop in the middle at all- honestly I'm glad, it feels so good to be able to do the whole thing without much problems (I mean I still felt the burn but I didn't have to stop so-)
3 PM

Running (neighborhood) 22:42 [3] 3.25 km (6:59 / km) +55m 6:26 / km
ahr:172 max:189

aaaaaa i didn't want to go but I knew if I didn't I'd feel bad--

Sunday Feb 28 #

1 PM

Orienteering (Clopper Lake- Green) 1:23:07 [3] 6.3 km (13:12 / km) +175m 11:35 / km
ahr:119 max:157 13c

i don't think there was enough mud-

I know it says I missed #9, but I swear I was there- there were other people at that control at the same time as me, and maybe I didn't punch? even though I really think I did, maybe I didn't leave it in long enough- anyways, it was a bit of a bummer seeing that I mispunched, even though for the most part I was trying to be careful about punching everything.

updat after checking my GPS: nope, I was an idiot, I was in the right reentrant but I didn't go low enough, it was on a cliff and because I wasn't really paying enough attention, I didn't even notice it wasn't on the right feature. That's frustrating, I was only like 100m away at most.
3 PM

Orienteering (Clopper Lake Pickup) 32:13 [3] 2.6 km (12:23 / km) +49m 11:19 / km
ahr:122 max:163 7c

why did I run better during control pickup than I did on my actual course-

Saturday Feb 27 #

10 AM

Orienteering (Clopper Lake Control Set) 42:14 [1] 2.2 km (19:12 / km) +44m 17:27 / km
ahr:109 max:158 8c

I tried not dying in the mud-
Thankfully Don Fish went out to set most of the controls that are farther away during the week, so I didn't have to do too much, I just set 8 controls or so. I haven't been in this part of the park in 2 years I think, so I'm looking forward to tomorrow's meet.
2 PM

Strength Training (core) 10:00 [3]

help I'm going to have to be social this afternoon-
6 PM

Rock climbing 1:00:00 intensity: (15:00 @2) + (45:00 @4)

well i did better than I expected-
I only did 2 top rope climbs and then bouldered for 45 minutes because we were introducing some friends to climbing
