Adventure racing is an opportunity to challenge yourself; A chance to push yourself to your limits and beyond. If you enjoy being outdoors and active and are looking for a fun challenge, give adventure racing a try!

We know one of the intimidating (and exciting!) aspects of adventure racing is navigating your team through the course with only a map and compass. This clinic is here to help! In the morning classroom session, you’ll learn to interpret topo maps, use your compass, plot UTM coordinates, plan your race route, figure out where you are and more importantly, figure out how to get where you’re going. The afternoon will be spent applying your new navigational prowess in the field, with the help of experienced adventure racers who will accompany you through the navigational trek.
