Very easy run had an additional collegue in tow so had to keep the pace down. But was a good shake out before tonights aquathlon.

Wasnt expecting such a marked improvement. Think I got the pacing a lot better this time and possibly just a little bit more fresh. Slower start then latched onto a guy who come through at about 800m and worked my way through the field.

Went out in 8.17 (only 13 seconds faster than a fortnight ago) but I was still bouncing, finally decided to push past the guy who id been tucked behind for the last 800m. Faster transition but more traffic to deal with this week in the pool. Including one massive 10m under water kick after the turn to pass someone underneath.

Total time for the aquathlon is 20:33

First 2km at nice cruise, warm up pace.
Next 3 reps at tempo and last cool down.

Got through most of the exercises strongly except for scissor kicks but my core is improving. Had a small chuck at the end of the 4th rep.
