Spent most of the day putting out and collecting in cables for the sprint relay.

Screwed almost every control that wasn't completely straightforward. Felt like I was moving quickly though.

Woke up to find that Andy had been a legend and looked out a load of local o-maps. The Abbey Craig night-o from back in December looked most interesting so went and did that.

A few mistakes through carelessness but generally OK, just not moving very quickly - legs tired after yesterday.

Sat in Sainsbury's car park in Stirling and bumped into Sludo, who kindly offered me a place to stay for the night and a tour of Dumyat.

Nice to have someone to talk to on a run other than myself.

Quads v. sore and pissing it down, so headed to Penrith pool for a bit of practice at not drowning. 3 x 500m with a few minutes rest in between and a few lengths warm up/down.

Through the forest on the east edge of Thirlmere once it stopped raining quite so much. Didn't check the map closely enough and there was a lot more up and down than anticipated, uphill fine but downhill not.
