Silas Condict Red course.

Yay! I slept so well last night and had time in the morning to relax even more. Things went better today and even though I felt a bit weak physically in the beginning, towards the end I felt strong and back to my usual self. Nice course design again by Balter; I enjoyed the many route choice legs. Happy K. Ready for another crazy work week.

Ankle felt Ok in general, but sides of the heel were in pain when I would land on the foot awkwardly.

After my red course I collapsed for a nap and then collected some controls.

Red course at Westmorland Sanctuary on a lovely fall day. Unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy today's outing. I was too sleep-deprived to get into the map mentally, and physically, I lacked energy. At one point I felt dizzy and had to stop, close my eyes, and then walk slowly to recover. Considered quitting but decided to just finish the course (nice design by Balter). I never know what's the right thing to do in these situations. I rarely quit but when I feel this out of it, what is the point? To add to my misery, these VJ shoes were quite painful to run in because they're so narrow. Spikes help so much during this time of year but damn, cannot wear these. I also twisted my ankle and fell, slightly busting up my knee today.

Note

First day on the new job, and I was thoroughly not present, just so exhausted still. Need sleep and recovery. I have no idea how I will manage to train with this schedule. Maybe once I move closer to the job I will have more time but for the next few weeks expect my log to be fairly empty :(

On the plus side I'll be working with many Koreans so my AP nickname fits. Sugoi!! Oh wait, that's Japanese. Damn it. Need to learn some Korean. :P
