Totally was not awake when I started, caused me to wonder off to wrong stream in "attacking" #1, hence half hour lost wondering around from spur to spur. Decided that was for the best and took a stroll for another hour, hitting 2, 3, 10, and last couple controls. Knees def. preferred walking over running today and I complied. Wasn't upset but would have been nice to run the full course since the woods and terrain are so nice.
It is possible that I had a little too much sun yest. as I had a headache today and I know I was sufficiently hydrated.

No pressure on me this weekend, taking it easy. My old style of Oing returned today: most of the course was done purely intuitively, didn't need bearings at all, didn't need to force myself to plan ahead. Albeit, I wasn't running fast but it was nice to have good flow, subconscious that it was. I did stop short on # 9, lost some minutes there, knew I was on the right spur, just didn't go far enough down. Tired towards the end.
Loved this terrain and woods, wished I could have provided bettr competition. Oh well.. gotta heal first.

Pool time! in btwn work and school. Worked on flip turns today instead of my usual 500.
