I usually don't like mass starts but today's event was really fun and I enjoyed this exercise. I especially liked running from the start ahead of Sergei for about 30 meters. The beginning of the course was quite painful and I was definitely not sufficiently warmed up. But I stayed at it, after a slight left drift to #3 my focus came to and I didn't make any mistakes for the rest of the course. It was still very hard to keep my concentration and good make contact; it's been a while I guess.. At the end I didn't see anybody so thought to myself that I was at the end of the crowd (I obviously don't carry a watch, otherwise I would have had an idea that I was doing pretty well). I like Ansonia!

Ran an orange course as a sprint w/o compass, not moving especially fast but getting ahead of my brain so made a few wobbles.

Apparently I didn't do enough snow running this winter; this spring I am doing at least one. Went to Eagle Rock after work and ran around with a map in wet melting snow. Fun but tough, I thought it was longer but I guess I was just fast, hehe.

Feeling rather crappy all day today but dragged myself out for a run in Verona park. Had abdominal pains with a strange burning sensation, plus nausea, not fun, head wasn't in it either..
