Easy walk w/ Tommy around VF Fatlands.

spiked:2/10c (injured)

First Green course for me. Much slower than I'd like. Walked to save my knee, still had several huge mistakes. Interesting/different/great terrain.

Braces during, then ice immediately after seems to save knees from pain. I'll take it carefully for 4 weeks or so, strengthen my legs (quads), then test.

Worked on reading vegetation. Order of comfort in navigation:
1. contours/relief
2. features
3. compass (still shaky)
4. vegetation (nearly clueless)
