Barbara approved routing. Not as easy as it needs to be, but at least a step in that direction.

Seemed like a nice day to go pedal strike at Maybury, so I did.

MayburyLapTime was like 42:42, which included a brief peek at the Sheldon / 7 Mile for gaps in the fence. It would be nice to have more exits from the park for bikes/pedestrians. So a bit off the last time I guess, despite tremendous grip in the lightly tacky conditions.

If I leave early enough, I don't have to do an out and back, I think.

I tried the pump track on my touring bike, which is not ideal but kind of amusing. Then I spotted a skills course down the hill! Had no idea it was there, but I guess you wouldn't see it beyond the break of the hill from the road. I did not sample the wet boards on 0.5 meter type not quite skinny. I did ride through the giant barrel. I saw a new-to-me trail that was gravel and dry, then rode it too far until it was that fine layer of wet mold, which was not ideal on 38 mm road tires. I managed to not crash.

Not sure how I managed to end up with a dead Edge and a dead Apple watch, so padded distance and time manually.

Wheelies weren’t there but single track wasn’t far so I popped over and did Newburgh Lake, then came back, waited five minutes for a train using the curb as a skinny, then went home to see sink wasn’t training and I can’t find the blockage.

My nose is too runny to go into work - I could probably pass the questionnaire, although it doesn't seem like potentially knocking back a half box of Kleenex meets the spirit. Also, a runny nose inside a mask isn't fun.

So I biked a cable over to my coworker's house.

It turned into an adventure, between a road closure, which is usually a crappy old bridge you can just scoot over, but this time was a full on road construction project with no ways around through the neighboring subs. This made the time later, which made the busy roads busier than I wanted them, but it mostly worked out.
