I should have known I was in trouble when I got a little winded jacking up my car to swap some tires.
I couldn't run. Occasionally I could shuffle, but any prolonged shuffling resulted in stopping to catch my breath.
The course was fantastic and runnable, map was immensely readable, everything looked exactly like I expected, so it was super frustrating to not be able to move.
Two minor errors: drifted left to #4, and the miscounted the swamps slightly, not realizing the downed tree was the dark green at #12.

Quick sample of the northern points of the Ati's course - so much fun terrain, I loved it.
Drove over with Wangki, who unfortunately did undergrad AND masters at U of M...and discovered orienteering during his PhD at U of I. So I pointed him at the juiciest bits of terrain versus my more beginner-friendly section.
MetroNav needs to produce one more event. I tried out my new self-printed check system by giving myself a small reimbursement, and the ATM rejected it. I finally got into the bank to check on it, and they said the check looked fine, but the account was inactive.
