Billygoat. A fun race. I made a huge error on cp2. Too much following and not enough map reading. I made a handful of other mistakes including one near the end on a very easy control which cost me a couple of positions in the rankings.

The NEOC/CSU crew were very generous and put on a training session that Laura and I did part of after a long drive. Despite taking it really easy, I had a tough time with the navigation. A very nice park with some serious hills.

~20 minutes running around the weekday training course, and the remainder on the ski hill trails. Great trails.

I setup flags for tonight's training, and within 20 minutes CP's 1 and 2 went for a walk. Normally this wouldn't be such an issue, but tonight's course was a memory-o where map segments were hung with the flags. No one on the course had a map, and it is certainly hard to get very far when the first two controls aren't there.
