MTB 3:00:00 [3] 55.0 km (18.3 kph)

After only 3 hours sleep set of on our first leg on the island of Hvar. Our equipment was in could shape but were made of heavy steel. An initial 2km flat bit was followed by an 11km climb equivalent to Welshpool road. Fortunately the gears were good, however the weaker riders ended up walking

Stair running 2:00:00 [3]

Climbing stairs in Split. Over 400 to the top of the hill overlooking Split and then the giant steps up the dodgy church tower in the Split old town. Finished the day with a magnificent grilled bass. We sauntered over to the ferry terminal and find the ferry had gone and our only alternative was at 1:30 in the morning and to be entertained by the disco crowd. (The wharf had a dual role as an all night disco).
