Orienteering 57:51 [4] 5.26 km (5.5 kph) +150m

Course 5. No major mistakes - just slow particularly at the start, finding breathing difficult. First few control areas I recognised from last years course setting. I was dissapointed that many legs had no route choice and there was nothing else to do but go down to the bottom of a gully and then back up the other side. Finished second behind simmo. Not bad considering I had done no running training for more than a few months

Go to the specialist to get the nose straightend (again). Feel OK so I go for a bike ride and head for Shelly to catch up with the Friday O Bike riders. Felt like hard work. Cold and a slight breeze made it harder work than it should have been. Planned to return home via Freemantle, however the anisthetic on my nose wore off and it became too painfull. So took the soft option and returned with jennyk in the car.
