"White is right" - one of Becky's courses at the junior training she held in conjunction with the WCOC local meet at Huntington State Park in Redding, CT. Super fun orienteering. 1:5,000 map scale, so I could see everything on the map. A brilliant, beautiful day - so I could easily see everything in the woods.

Very nice red course, set by WCOC. Got a bit lost on 17 (that's the hook around kilometer 6 on the GPS track), otherwise did OK. Lunch with orienteering friends afterwards was really nice :-).

Mentally going over my mistakes at the Flying Pig this past weekend during the run. I had expected to "run into" a couple of walls during the sprint, so that was fine. However, I have no real excuse for wandering about the woods around the second and the third controls on the Long and the Middle, respectively. There is only one solution for preventing that in the future - more orienteering race starts.
