Today I am preparing myself mentally for the West Point A-meet tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. I expect this to be some of the most technically challenging terrain, some of the most difficult footing and two of the longest courses I've experienced in years. My two main goals are to stay in contact with the map the entire time and to make good route choices on long legs. If I can do this while walking uphills and trotting the rest of the way, I will be a happy man.
