Cycling 20:00 [3] 3.7 mi (5:24 / mi)

last leg of the work/nate's/home car/motorcycle/bike triangle trade. it's probably three days of rest talking, but it felt surprisingly easy - maybe running is helping. wore my fancy new windproof booties (plastic bags), and they worked perfectly. i recommend the TJ's model over the CVS ones.

had a physical a few days back. asked if my (minor) heart murmur has any effect on running (or vice versa), and she asked if i've ever had an echocardiogram. i haven't, and so now i'm lined up for one next week. i've always been jealous of the people who get a DVD with the MRI of their knee/brain/etc, and i'm told i can get the ECG results on disk. score! also, passed out after getting blood drawn. can't say i'm afraid of needles, so no idea what's up there. hadn't eaten since the previous night, though.

Climbing (Gym) 1:45:00 [3]

solid bouldering. got my quarterly V4 - even cleaned it up a little. bagged a bunch of v3's as well. one v2 curiously seems unpossible, and another that's not quite the gimme it should be. feel like my endurance should be higher. shins are still sore but unaffected by climbing or slacklining

alicia was doing girly wedding stuff, so i went for a run up nearby Mt Ann conserva-park-atory-servation. unpacked heavy wet snow mostly. little bit of off-trail schwackin' in the middle. hints of a shin splint - four days in a row after a few weeks of crappy training was a poor idea.
